Because gutter screens and covers don’t work well
Leaf screens and covers create more problems than they solve. They block the top of the gutter causing leaves, needles, and other debris to accumulate ON the gutter. Heavy rains wash sloppy water over the face of the gutter which looks terrible. Our LeafDrop Downspout starts with an opening 4X larger than regular Downspout openings. This allows leaves and fir needles to “Drop” through an enlarged downspout (2X larger than normal) to a clean-out trap near the ground.
